First north swell at Hookipa today but I was too late. I only saw these few kitesurfers and a lone windsurfer. Later the blue skies turned dark all of a sudden and it rained buckets for about 2 minutes. Good thing I was close to my car.
My neighbors at Oceanview Estates would be too familiar with this stunning view every now and then as we exit our neighborhood. Quite a contrast from the ocean-views from the other side. We're so blessed with what would probably be the last remaining and "affordable" oceanside subdivision in Maui outside of the multi-million dollar homes in the resort areas.

Every Monday, this inter island Cruise ship passes by our house at 6:30 pm and it's hard to resist photographing it as I have been doing the past 15 years. It's alway been an awesome sight regardless of the weather.
This shot was made from a mile away in our lanai

There's something about Hibiscus that reminds me that I'm in a tropical island paradise
The plumbagos and oleanders are equally captivating in their own way
At a Town Hall Mtg. at Christ The King two weeks ago, Bishop Larry sat next to me and he asked about my Bible Study Ministry and why I'm excited about it. That was a wonderful and Godsend moment for me. Earlier I have been praying that I would have an opportunity to tell him about our new Bible House-Call Ministry that we just started so I can get his comments and blessings and I did. (Yes we do house calls if you wish to have a bible learning session at the privacy and convenience of your home, courtesy of God and Christ The King Church!)

There are a few of this type of spider in our garden and I was ready to give this one the big clap from my slippers (sudden and painless death) when I noticed the baby spidy. That would have broke my heart. So I shot them with my camera instead.
While trimming the white plumbagos in our front yard, I remembered Hannah always picking these beautiful tiny flowers to give to her mommy.

The Sunset afterglow at the dormant and majestic Haleakala volcano. Yes this will rival the fiery displays of the Big Island volcanos when Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess, decides to wake her up.
