Doing The Cha Cha

...at our Maui Ballroom class with the final Cha Cha lesson for the quarter. Someone said that Cha Cha could well be the second national dance in the Philippines because pretty much everyone can dance it. You can quickly make a Filipino party come alive when you play a Cha Cha beat.

Have you seen the ballroom-style cha cha? It's even more fun! But, so is Mambo, Salsa, Samba, Rhumba, Bolero..........etc, etc. If you haven't tried Ballroom dancing yet, you're missing out. In Maui it's only $8 per dance for the whole quarter! You can't beat that.

Sharing Another Gospel Song Favorite

This song is awesome. Very simple lyrics but pretty much embracing the Gospel message.

Evangelical and Catholic versions below:

Lyrics:

Verse:
Lord, I lift Your name on high
Lord, I love to sing Your praises
I'm so glad You're in my life
I'm so glad You came to save us

Chorus:
You came from heaven to earth
To show the way
>From the earth to the cross
My debt to pay
>From the cross to the grave
>From the grave to the sky
Lord, I lift Your name on high

Milestone at Owaka - Evelyn Using Her Laptop!

She is the type that would use the phone rather than email or texting or immerse herself with a good book instead of  "surfing" the net for info or stuff. These days, that's a rare virtue. (Last year, my laptop crashed and Apple took a week to fix it. I was a basket case!)

However, the last three days she must have spent more than 20 hours in front of that computer. Doing what? It's work-related. She needs to take an online nursing course and then write an online exam later. In fact as I write this posting I think she is in the process of writing that test.

I'm not going upstairs for a while. :-0
