"Today You Will Be With Me In Paradise" Luke 23:43

Tonight my favorite Pastor and Bible mentor at Hope Chapel has gone to Heaven. Pastor Kit has been battling leukemia for over a year. He was supposed to deliver the message tonight but last Monday his health started to deteriorate rapidly so the church decided to transform the service into a special night of testimonials, called "The Expression Session", for anyone that he has touched which included myself.

At the end of the service, they announced that two hours earlier, God has taken him home. There was an indescribable explosion of emotions amongst the congregants followed by deep moments of grief and prayers. Little did we know that tonight, the Lord would gather all of Pastor Kit's church family to bid him a tearful goodbye as well. I think Kit wouldn't have want to have his departure any other way, any other night. Earlier, he told another Pastor that God had told him that on this particular Friday's special service , everyone would receive a gift. We did.  "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted" God touched our hearts tonight.

Aloha Kit. You were a milestone in my spiritual journey. Till we meet again.
