Just Another Lousy Day in Maui

No Waves. No crowd. And like our locals say in our Hawaii pidgin language "no mo nuting" (no more nothing)

Hula in Church - Only in Hawaii

For those that have not attended church service in Hawaii, we do get a Hula presentation at the end of service. Here's one today at St. Theresa's Catholic church with kids dancing the Hula for the Lord.

Compared to previous Sundays, today the church was unusually quite crowded for no apparent reason. No special events or religious celebrations at church but the place was standing room only for many attendees that came in late. Well, for whatever reason, it was wonderful to see so many people in there.

Can a whale swallow a human?

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal, its throat was very small.

The little girl argued that Jonah was swallowed by a whale (according to the Bible). Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah,"

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him".
